Job Title: Training and Development Officer
Duty Station: Antakya-Turkey

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/SCOPE OF WORK
MAIN OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
•Assist the Human Resources Manager in the areas of training and development of staff working in the ER response program in Turkey and Syria
FUNCTIONAL AND HIERARCHICAL LINES
•Reports hierarchically and functionally to HR/Admin Manager
•Collaborates with the rest of the HR department and all department
RESPONSABILITIES & TASKS
Briefing and induction of new staff
•Ensures (together with the coordinator/supervisor) that briefing for newly recruited staff are conducted in due time
•Ensure that briefing packs are up to date and incorporated all sectors information
•Ensure that newly recruited staff understands the core IMC policy and procedures e.g. Code of conduct and SEA
Training and Development Follow up
•Work with HR Manager and ensure that adequate learning needs assessment are conducted for all the staff
•Work with the HR Manager and department head and suggest learning path for the staff
•Ensure that adequate learning resource mapping are up to date
•Follow up the proposed training plan for the staff in consultation with the line manager
•Be focal point for We-learn on line learning portal and disseminate information to all staff including effectiveness of the we learn on line learning portal.
Training statistics
•Frequently update the training statistics for the ER program and share with the management for review
•Assist HR Manager in areas of key learning needs for the department
Filling
•Update training file
•Ensure all training information is up to date in the employees file
Others
•Assist department in finding training venue and assist department in administration of training course e.g. training cost, finding training venue, adminter travel movement for the participant and arrange accommodation for the participant
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor degree in human resources, business or administration related studies preferably as Training and Development Officer
•Understand learning and development cycle
•Professional proficiency at English and Turkish/Arabic
•Desirable working experience of at least two years in similar position
•Desirable experience other NGOs
•Pedagogical skills (Desirable)
•Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel and Internet)
